From February until the end of season, McCulloch House & Genealogy Centre presents "Pieces of Pictou," a collection of heirlooms, antiques and relics, many of which have been generously loaned by private collectors and antique dealers to to share with the public for this this one time reveal.
One of Pictou's local collectors, Kevin Pettipas, has contributed a number of artifacts to this exhibit including a bench from the CN Station located on Front Street in Pictou. Other items on display include a circa 1880 prescription book once belonging to R D Stiles, druggist, who worked in River John and Pictou, various shoes and documents from A Henderson & Sons, Pictou Twist chewing tobacco cans, Pictou souvenir china and Pictou Academy athletic trophies, to name a few.
